Streatham Police Station Old and New

by: Morag Palmer. Lambeth South Cluster Inspector

On the 16th February an old era has come to an end; the old Victorian Building that once held the Old Streatham Police Station has been closed.

It has held many memories for community members in Streatham, old and young have passed through its doors. However, this is not the end of Community Policing in the Streatham Area. Your Local Neighbourhood Police Officers have only moved just down the road.

They are still around to deal with issues that affect you and your families. The Station Office is open as normal with the friendly face of Esther Kearns the Front Officer Station Officer who has dealt with numerous incidents in the office.

Nothing fazes Esther so feel free to come in and see her.

The new Streatham Police Base is open;

Monday to Wednesday 09:00 - 17:00hrs
Thursday 12:00 - 20:00hrs
Friday 09:00 - 17:00hrs

Out of these hours you can contact the Police via 999 in an emergency; 101 for non emergency calls or use the phone on the external front wall of the building.

All Streatham teams have been kept in Streatham and the same officers will be seen on the wards walking around.

Your local officers are:

Streatham Wells is PC Ben Williams with PCSO Carl Mclean
ST Leonards is PC Matt Watts and PCSO Jed Scarry
Streatham South is PC Alan Jeffrey and PCSO James Pegg
Streatham Hill is PC Nigel Sivers and PCSO Lewis Lerwill.

Come and meet the teams
