Keep it Local - Shop in Streatham at Christmas

I'm often surprised by the wonderful gifts and delicious foodie treats available in Streatham. I asked the Streatham Mums Facebook Group and some of our advertisers and contributors for their personal Streatham shopping gems to help spread the word. Here are some of their suggestions.

Scruffs Report - The Streatham Common Dog Show results

Well, the 2014 annual dog show Scruffs” was a huge success again this year. We had great weather and a great turnout – over 90 dogs and their two-legged friends took part in the various competitions

We at Heart Streatham were also there running our own photographic and video competition and here are the winners:

Owner who looks most like their dog Winner – Katherine Forster & Hettie
2nd Place – Jennie Mclaughlin & Bumblebee
3rd Place – Polly Page & Queenie

Streatham Roundup - Issue 6

Wow, September was packed full of activity! We started by sponsoring the Streatham Common Fun Dog Show, “Scruffs” by funding the fencing, and ran three photo/video competitions whilst there. We very much enjoyed meeting readers and mutts!

We went to The Streatham Festival open meeting to work with the community to create a sustainably funded festival for the future as grants are no longer available. Send us your ideas via [email protected], Twitter or our Facebook page.
