TAT London Presents 'Reinvented with Love' Tuesday 21st February to Saturday 4th March 2017

After a successful stall at the Furzedown Festival Big Day Out, TAT (Tooting Artful Transformations) comes to Sprout Arts, showcasing our new collection.

Artists Tracey Morant and Rachel Young, hate to see furniture looking down on its luck and heading towards landfill. Instead, they lovingly restore the piece, whilst adding a contemporary twist. Their vintage furniture collection has been influenced by the mid century modern period, their collection is complimented with select soft furnishings and unique collectible pieces.

Make the Kids' Natural Kitchen

All budding carpenters and inventors, come and help us create our Kids’ Natural Play Kitchen. We will be making a play stove, benches, cupboards and more in our new Kids Kitchen just to the right of the BPCG main entrance.

We will be using logs, re-usable wood, and other natural and found materials to make this lovely new space for children.

Woodland Wreaths & Winter Decorations

Meet us in the clearing in the middle of the woodland at Eardley Road Nature Reserve.
Make a small woodland wreath and festive decorations using natural materials.
Keep warm with a cup of spicy fruit punch sitting next to a roaring fire.

The White Christmas Fair

The White Christmas Fair will pop up at Tooting Market on Saturday 17th December, for one special evening of late night shopping. This annual festive event will, once again showcase a handpicked range of independent designers, talented makers and beautiful brands. Choose what is going under your tree, from the wonderful selection of stocking fillers, tempting treats, and limited edition gifts.

Streatham Library Fun Palace 2016

Keep 1st October in your diary! From 10 am, Streatham Library transforms into your local Fun Palace fi lled with art, drama, crafts, play and science activities, and fun for all the whole family for all ages. And it's FREE!

Fun Palaces are community events, where anyone can have access to arts and science for a weekend. Run by the community for the community, they rely on people wanting to get involved with their skill set. 
Lambeth Libraries host our Funpalaces every year. This year, the date for the Streatham Library Funpalace is the 1st of October.

South Bank UTC - Engineering Students' Futures

South Bank Engineering UTC will be a new arrival on the educational scene in Lambeth. Opening in Brixton in 2016, the UTC will deliver a specialist curriculum with an engineering specialism to students aged 14-19. According to Dan Cundy, the Principal Designate, ‘there is a very real skills gap in the engineering sector, particularly in London. Major employers are desperate for young people with the right type of skills, with high value careers in engineering available’.
