As we approach the turn of the year there continue to be a series of exciting new openings in Streatham. The Italian, Il Giardino, is getting ready to open soon near Streatham Hill, Piccolino, a new café, is open at 212 A Eardley Road, Streatham Common and Occasional Books, a new second hand bookshop is now open at 93 Streatham Vale (near the Co-op store).
The Hideaway Café is changing to a coffee kiosk and box office for Hideaway and expanding workspace facilities.
After a long search for the perfect location in Streatham, Wandsworth Oasis is delighted to announce they have opened a charity shop in Streatham on Leigham Court Road, their first in the Borough. You're bound to get a bargain and you might even find a Christmas present or two. They collect for free in South London.
At the Railway pub, opposite the Streatham Common station on 7th Dec at 7.30pm there is the next meeting for the proposed Streatham Common WI, the Streatham WI being fully subscribed.
